Krag Bowie Bayonet
Officially designated by Springfield Armory as the “Combination Entrenching Knife-Bayonet”, it is commonly called the “Bowie bayonet”. 9 inch blade, marked “US” and “1900”. Walnut scales, original iron scabbard, circa 1900. Very rare. 2000 of these were produced in 1900. 1500 were field tested in the Philippines, 500 in Cuba.
